Stone foundations are typically found in homes which are 100 years or older. Most often they leak due to the deterioration of the mortar. This allows water to seep through the walls however if the seepage is coming through where the floor and the wall meet it is due to a high water table.
Stone foundations are the most expensive to resolve because of the additional cost of the product that must be installed on the interior of the stone foundation wall in order to prevent condensation and further deterioration of the mortar joints.
