At AquaProof we only use the best material. Downspouts are installed with solid scheduled 35 PVC pipe and fittings. If the concrete is to be poured over the downspout then the piping will be upgraded to solid scheduled 40 PVC. When it comes to downspout material it is buyer beware. There is a lot of sub-par material such as polyethylene, this is a white pipe with a black lining. This type of piping can not be glued together because the glue will break down the material. Black corrugated will not last because of the clay soil will expand and crush the pipe. Styroline fittings will not last underground. This is the reason AquaProof uses PVC and only the best material.
